How to Beef Stew

When I was little, beef stew was a staple in our house. We have been looking forward to beef stew with dumplings, and there was never enough to go around dumplings. This is a quick and simple meal of a bowl to fill your family and not do against the budget. This recipe uses the stove original fast - not the microwave, but the pressure cooker. My mother had one, my grandmother had one, and now that I'm married, I have one too. Not much has changed with the pressure cooker, as they have changedwere made for the first time, and are a great way to make cheaper cuts of meat tender and moist. beef stew pressure cooker makes short work of dinner.

The list of ingredients is very small:


1 pound beef stew
16 ounces beef broth, canned or broth
2 (16 ounce) cans vegetable-All
1 can of refrigerator biscuits

Start with a pound of beef stew. This is a less expensive cut of beef, and although it is more difficult than, say, a cut of the kidney, the pressure cookerwill take care of you and will be with a delicate, tasty piece of meat when it is ready to be released. Start the meat into cubes about ¼ inch and brown over medium heat in a pressure cooker.

While the meat is brown, take 16 ounces beef broth (if using beef stock cube). For an even quicker way to buy only one 16-ounce beef broth.

Once the meat is browned, add the beef broth and 2 cans of 16 oz-All vegetables, undrained. Secure the lid on the pressureStove and turn the heat to high. Once the pressure cooker up to pressure, heat again to medium or medium-high (enough to keep the pressure) and cook for 15 minutes.

While the meat and vegetables for cooking, take a can of refrigerator biscuits (like Pillsbury) and then cut into quarters and set aside. free with the next 10 minutes, you can go around and done many things as possible or just a pause.
