Monkey Bread

This recipe starts with refrigerated biscuits, so I'm not the pasta from scratch. While there are many steps involved in the production of this bread, it is actually a recipe that even small children can help.

The bread is very sweet. You Splenda for some or all of the sugar substitute. The nuts are optional.

Ingredients:

2 cans (7.5 ounces each) refrigerated biscuits

¾ cup sugar

2 teaspoons cinnamon

Cut the butter ¾or margarine

½ cup chopped walnuts

Adding sugar

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

2. Cut each biscuit into quarters

3. In a large disposable bag, combine ¾ cup sugar and a teaspoon of cinnamon.

4. Drop biscuit pieces in a bit 'at a time and shake to coat.

6. In a saucepan combine the butter or margarine and a teaspoon ofCinnamon.

7. Measure your dry ingredients and add enough sugar, for a total of one cup.

9. Remove from heat and let stand for 15 minutes.

10. Stir in nuts and then spoon mixture over biscuits in pan.

11. Bake 45 minutes.

12. Let cool in pan 5 minutes.

13. Remove from the pan.

14. Drag the parts as desired.
